Basic tools and common sense

I would atleast get the ball rolling to begin with 6 basic things from APJ Abdul Kalam that one should always keep close to one’s heart in order to be successful in whatever you do. I personally have felt the impact and hence would like to put this forward –

1. Doing SIMPLE things right...

2. Living below your means...

3. Remember things that people usually tend to forget...

4. Find alternatives to PROFANITY… (personally very important to me… because let’s face the fact wherever you go, you will get little bit of this and you should be in a position to find a workaround to handle profanity in a professional way rather than cribbing about it J)

5. Decisions based on logic rather than emotions...(yes, lots of topics on EI but apply common sense please)

6. Get things DONE!!! (JUST DO IT … then we talk on Why, Who and How’s J)

Cheers - D

Journey begins...

“Opportunity is missed by most because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” – Thomas Alva Edison, Inventor and Entrepreneur

This blog is a step towards learning how businesses are run and what it takes to be successful whilst having fun during the journey. My attempt is to pen down the lessons and my POV from day to day work experience, what I read, watch and listen as someone as famousily said - "Watch, listen, and learn. You can’t know it all by yourself. Anyone who thinks they do is destined for mediocrity.”

Keep tuned... - Dipesh
